The friendliness of the people is genuine. I feel very comfortable.

Because I was alone and I didn’t want to be alone anymore.

I just feel so comfortable here. It’s not artificial here. This is Lowell and I”m a Lowell person.

How is the food here at MRM?

I like it. The food is a mix, some days it’s an everyday meal and then something special. Good, basic food.

Do they enjoy the activities offered at MRM? If so, what activities do they enjoy the most?

I like everything. I like getting together with other residents, especially to excercise.

Security of the whole operation. I feel secure here. I do not have a need to lock my door. The hospitality of the whole staff.

What was their reason for moving to Maple Ridge Manor?

Because it was close to my son’s house.

Is there anything that makes MRM stick out above the other facilities they may have looked into before making the decision to move to MRM?

My son chose. It fit my needs and his so they did not look at any other facility.

How is the food here at MRM?

For the most part, it is acceptable. I have a dry mouth challenge that I work through. I have gained 10 to 15 pounds which is a good thing. In the beginning, special provisions were made to help me gain weight because I needed to. They took the time to figure that out.

Do they enjoy the activities offered at MRM? If so, what activities do they enjoy the most?

Yes, I enjoy the activities. I like what we do and would be receptive to more.

Because our son is local here and the facility is wonderful.

Their son found the place.

D - I looked online and most places were very expensive for two people and required two rooms.

How is the food here at MRM?

L - It is excellent. The chef takes an interest in each resident.

Have not been well enough to participate but have enjoyed some of the evening gatherings.

The comfort of having no stress.

What was their reason for moving to Maple Ridge Manor?

I had a fall and needed to recuperate but I was done living by myself so I chose to come here instead of having in home care and still being alone. It has also taken stress off of my children.

Is there anything that makes MRM stick out above the other facilities they may have looked into before making the decision to move to MRM?

I didn’t pick, my children did. Husband is at another facility. Here everything is billed on one bill, food is top notch, amenities include a theatre, beauty shop exercise room, etc.

How is the food here at MRM?

The food is always wonderful.

Do they enjoy the activities offered at MRM? If so, what activities do they enjoy the most?

Because of recuperating from a broken hip, I have not been able to do as much as I would like. I enjoy the social gatherings centered around a game for all to enjoy and Bingo.

I didn’t have a choice, my daughter moved me closer to her.

The services that are offered. I have gotten excellent care. Staff is outstanding.

How is the food here at MRM?

Days it is really good and others not so much.

I enjoy the programs that are put on, especially gathering activities.

I don’t know, I like it all. I like the activities and the food.

What was their reason for moving to Maple Ridge Manor?

The main reason was to be around people. I was starting to not like to cook. It was time to have someone else take care of my stuff.

I chose this because the owners are from my home town.

I think it is good.

Yes I do! I think you do very well at having a mix and getting us out around people.
