From the inception of Maple Ridge Manor, our promise as the premier West Michigan assisted living community has been to offer an assisted living experience for our Manistee and Lowell senior residents they will not find anywhere else. To deliver on our promise means that our residents feel loved, secure, thoroughly cared for, and enjoy the complete comfort of being at home. From the moment our residents arrive here, we want them to feel as though they’re entering a new, exciting phase of their life where they receive the care they need in a loving, compassionate, caring atmosphere that feels like home.
Cable & Internet Access
Our common living areas include large screen cable TVs and all resident apartments are equipped with cable television hook up so our Lowell and Manistee assisted living residents can enjoy all the entertainment choices of home. We also have internet access for our tech-savvy residents who have brought their home computers and want to stay ‘connected’.
Daily Activities
Both of our West Michigan assisted living facilities provide our residents with a wealth of daily activities to stimulate their physical and mental well-being. These include daily exercise and recreational therapy, participation in arts & crafts, and group games.
Fun Day Trips
Our assisted living residents enjoy a wide variety of satisfying activities both on site and around the West Michigan area. We provide day trips to local community events and festivals, museums, parks, beaches, and popular destinations like the Frederik Meijer Gardens, Michigan’s Adventure, and more. During the summer, these can include trips to West Michigan White Caps games, and in the off season, excursions to Grand Rapids Griffins hockey games.
Exercise & Socialization
With 40 residential apartments and 14 memory care apartments in our West Michigan assisted living facilities, our residents enjoy an active social life in an atmosphere that is congenial, comfortable, and fun. We have regular activities such as games, holiday meals together, and a large common room for social gatherings. Our residents also enjoy exercising together and team activities that build healthy bodies and healthy relationships.
